ついにツインタワーがなくなってしまいました。
これからは、その後の混乱した１日を紹介したいと思います。
We were watching
the TV for a while.
The Twin Tower had just gone for good.
TV showed
the scene over and over.
I was watching the scene over and over,
too.
Those scene are still in my mind and I will never
forget.
Although I watched the scene so many times,
I couldn't get
a grip on reality...
Thinkgs were so unreal.
And I, we didn't know
what was gonna happen, next.
Outside the libe, campus was in
panic.
My university was about 30miles from WTC in Long Island,
but still
felt great danger.
Many people was trying to call friends and
family,
but cell phone didn't work.
I do not remember where I had
lunch on the day,
or am not sure if I even had it.
Everything went so
unreal.
I kept felling great vain in my mind somehow.
I had two
classes in the afternoon until around 16:00.
The university announced that
they still hold classes on the day
but understand if we want to go home they
didn't count it as absent,
and provided a couple of counselors for those who
felt unsecured.
I attended classes, but do not remember anything.
I
think profs mentioned about the accident in the classes,
but I just can't
remember any of it.
Things were so unreal.
I left the university
around 16:30, I guess.
